Joseph is the Founder and Principal of J. jordan & Associates LLC, a brand management firm specializing in brand management of cultural competence. For the last 20 years, Joseph has executed branding tactics and diversity strategies for many of the nation’s top organizations and global factories. His firm combines civic volunteerism with bottom-line corporate consulting for organizations ranging from Microsoft, Indiana University School of Emergency Medicine to Centene Corporation and Nestle Purina Pet Care, to name a few. Joseph has also dedicated the last 30 years to holding leadership roles on not-for-profit boards ranging from the YMCA, Minority Corporate Network, Black Leadership Roundtable to the National Conference for Community and Justice. She is a seasoned executive with a rich 25-year background in Operations & Supply Chain Sustainability that spans Fortune 100 to 5000 companies, in sectors such as logistics, wearing and footwear apparel, technology, food & beverage, manufacturing, and e-commerce.

She has a unique blend of corporate experience and a pivotal 5-year entrepreneurial venture, injecting a dynamic entrepreneurial spirit into her corporate approach. Her extensive experience uniquely positions her to seamlessly integrate entrepreneurial and innovative thinking into corporate structures of all sizes. Throughout her expansive career, she has created departments and refined operational processes. She embraces conscious leadership principles and systems thinking to empower teams and drive both social and business growth.


Caryn Reed-Hendon, Ph.D.

Consultant, Lead Project Manager

Caryn is a Consultant and Lead Project Manager for J. jordan & Associates. At JJA, she is responsible for the administrative operations of the organization and supports in the areas of research and analysis. She has over twenty years of higher education experience, has served on a number of professional educational committees related to issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and has presented regionally, nationally and internationally. Dr. Reed-Hendon’s memberships include: Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.- Rho Sigma chapter, National Association of Minority Medical Educators, National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education, King Chavez Parks Future Faculty Fellows, and NASPA: Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education.
